Default Questions bout combinations

Hello,

I had just bought the preorder packet yesterday and was looking through the different classes. I know I want warrior as my primary build and something with a bit of magic abilities as secondary. Is there anyone that can tell me a few skills or their opinion on which of these combinations are better?

Warrior/Necromancer

Warrior/Monk

Warrior/Elementalist

Thanks for helpin out a noob lol.

There is no "better" combo, its all about what classes you enjoy or find interesting. You can make loads of different builds with just one class combo. Check out the Skill section here at GWGuru, maybe a few skills will pop out at you and you can take it from there.

Sorry I can't be more specific.

the concern with a warrior primary is the general lack of energy. that means you will not be using costly spells of a caster line, however buffs and such might be useful. you should take a look the posted builds here and guides to get an idea of where to start:

you might want to spend the beta actually trying out the different professions

the reason i say this is that i KNEW i wanted to be a warrior/?

as it turned out i stank as one but am having a wonderful time (and am much more efficient) as a fire elementalist/mesmer

Warrior / Monk is a deep combination with a ton of skill choices that work well - you can stack smiting buffs, or bring heals, they both work well.

Warrior / Necromancer is also fairly deep, but is a good deal trickier to make work right.

Warrior / Elementalist is really just Warrior + Conjure. It's not a very deep or complicated class, but it does one thing very well.

Peace,

I am a newbie too, I have heared a Warrior/Mesmer is great or the otehr way around with a Mesmer/Warrior. However, might I suggest another great idea i have heared about a Warrior/Monk. That way you can heal yourself and otehrs. Also ressurect fallen comrades.
